Update for our Up and Coming new Rotary member - According to Peter Barron, Rosie is doing well and due on Labour weekend.
 
Barry has visited David Cairns and is recuperating well at home after his operation.
 
Peter Taylor has been proposed as a new member by David Hogan.
 
Parnell Business Association have proposed that Parnell Rotary join with them in celebrating Christmas Market day at Heard Park, Parnell on 15 December, details following.

Sparkling Diwali Celebration  -  
 
Date:  Saturday,  7 October 2017, 6.30pm 
Venue: Bucklands & Eastern Beaches War Memorial Hall, Bucklands Beach Road
Dress Code:  Smart casual with a hint of Indian
Donation Passes:  $50.00 pp
 
Welcome drink on arrival - Cash Bar and NO BYO thanks.
 
To celebrate the Festival of Lights with exciting live performances, prizes, raffles, live auction, a DJ, an Indian Fashion Show and authentic Indian Cuisine.  
 
The proceeds of this fund-raiser will go towards an Intl Rotary Project for Water Management and Conservation in a tribal village in India and other Rotary projects.
