Welcome to another issue of our weekly bulletin! Below you will find out about future events, our weekly speaker and upcoming duties.
From the President
Our Guest Speaker this week was, Pippa Coom from the Waitemata Local Board, who spoke to us about The 10 year Budget and Auckland Plan.  Make sure you "Have Your Say but submitting your Feedback.
As a Thank You, Dementia has gifted $20,000 to our Rotary funds to enable us to fund such worthwhile projects as RYLA, Science School, RYPEN, Epsom Lodge (which now also includes Newmarket Club onto the roster), and Rotary Exchange.
Past D9920 Reunion - John Fothergill is promoting this reunion for past Outbound Students, Ingrid and Molly Stanbridge come under this and if there is anyone else you know of please let John know.
Cyclone Gita has now had 666 ERKs sent out to the Islands, our club has funded one more.
Rotary Youth Exchange - Outbound co-ordinator John Fothergill is seeking applications.  Students need to be aged between 16 and 18 years, in the month of January 2019.  Applications close 30 April 2018.   
RYLA  -  David Jones needs applications to be in by next week please.   David has followed up with all corporates.  Please let David know if you can help,offers greatly appreciated.
A donation has gone out to Challenge Camp $250, and a similar amount will now be donated for RYPEN.  It was decided to offer this, as Malena our Exchange student will be going.

All welcome! This is a great opportunity to come along and meet us, get an update from the Rotaract clubs in the Auckland region and to network.
District Governor Malini Raghwan will attend as well as District Rotaract Representative Ms. Mehak Janjua together with representatives from the various Rotaract Clubs of the Auckland Region, and members of the Mt Eden Rotary Club who are helping to host the event.
