•    Wearing your Women in rotary Tshirt, go on a 5km walk from Silo playground around St Mary's, Pt Erin, Westhaven area back to the Silo playground.
•    Afterwards disperse through the area for coffee/lunch etc
•    Will ask for a gold coin donation from walk participants and collect gold coins 'en route' towards End Polio

Those who are unable to do a 5km walk can remain in the Wynyard Quarter, being visible, talking to people and collecting 'gold coin' donations in the area.    Ingrid has the T-shirts - $10 donation to Polio.

We are also planning further events during the year.  Women were first admitted to Rotary in 1989 in California - look up https://www.rotary.org/en/history-women-rotary  for a fascinating insight into how difficult it was for women to be admitted.  First female president was Sylvia Whitlock in Duarte, California
