RYLA - from Henry Ford
Nominations are now open for participants for the 2019 RYLA program. RYLA is a week long residential course for young leaders from age 22 to age 28. As you know the program is outstanding and a wonderful opportunity.
Colin has 1 x potential person, TBC.
The Board has agreed to fund 1 x person from French Polynesia.
The process is a little different this year in that all applications are to be made on line. All information is available at the web site www.ryla.co.nz. Applications close on 30 April. If you have someone who is to apply could you please advise Henry Ford who will then look out for the application to make sure it comes through the system.

ROLE MODEL ASSEMBLY NOTIFICATION - From Peter Don -
Pleased be advised that Michel Mulipola, will be the Role Model at the following Duffy Book Assemblies. Michel is a Samoan comic book artist based in Auckland. In 2006 he received the Gibson Award for Best NZ Comic Book Artist as well as a Grand Finalist in the 2013 Secret Walls x Aotearoa Live Art Battles. He is currently working on the American graphic novel, 'Headlocked: The Territory'. He has also contributed work for the NZ School Jornals, the Pasifika Heroes series of books, illustrated Marvel Comics trading cards and comic books for the WWE. When he is not drawing comics, Michel can be found 'working'at Arkham City Comics store in Auckland.

30 years of Women in Rotary Walk - Everyone Welcome
Join the celebration 30 years of Woman in Rotary Walk - Saturday 6 April - FUN 5km around Wynyard Quarter & Westhaven area, whether it be rain, hail or shine, it will happen.
• Gather at 9.00am for a 09:30 am start at the Silo Wynyard Quarter, playground, Jellicoe Road. This will be the start and finish spot, for ease of parking. Gold coin donation for all attending, going to Polio Plus campaign.
• Wearing your Women in rotary T-shirt, $10 donation (Polio Plus for D9920) limited quantity of new bright lime green T-Shirts. Email Leanne Jaggs to order if they are still available. Register if interested via email to leanne@searlegroup.co.nz on registration you will receive a map of the walk with additional information for the event.
• Afterwards disperse through the area for coffee/lunch etc

It is for a great cause, with net proceeds going to the Fiji Oxygen Project. The project aims to raise $650,000 to provide oxygen delivery facilities for children in 11 hospitals and health centres in Fiji, over the next three years.
