Welcome to the first 2024 bulletin.
 
Attendance; 10 persons including Colleen's sister from Nelson.
 
Appologies: Ingrid, Avis, Nick and Rory. (Although an unoffical meeting)
 
Presidential announcements;
The Parnell community garden is up and running with another working bee this Thursday 25th January at approx 10am 
 
Malcolm is thinking of holding some 2024 meetings at different venues and perhaps some evening meetings.
 
Interplast will be working soon to send medical supplies to the Islands.
 
We have Ryla coming in July and already hope to have attendees from Becas, Woolworths and Heartland Bank.
 
Wndy not here to be sargent as she is having the second of her eye upgrading operations, so we held a volentary donations collect which raised over $130.
 
Speakers are in short supply so please liase with Peter Don nd Nick if you have any ideas as not many keen politicians this year for some reason.
 
 Malcolm entertained us about a recent court case which decided a Punga log fence was indeed a structure and not vegetation.
 
SpecialNote that meeting on Wednesday 7th February will be cancelled as straight after Waitangi day which many will be away out of Auckland.
 
Meeting closed at 7.57.
