David Seymour , ACT member of parliament gave an interesting speech . He started his career as an engineer and became a member of parliament in 2014..

He noted that taxes in NZ are higher than any other country in the Pacific Rim. He discussed 3 issues :

1/ a need to get smarter about public health

2/ a need to focus on fiscal policy              

                                                            3/ a need to become more productive and achieve better growth in the economy
