International Rotary Student Exchange applications are opening soon and there will be a zoom information meeting to be held by John Fotheringham, now of Pakuranga Rotary. Details to come.

3 Minute speaker was Phil, who explained the wonders of the 9 times table-which was u add the numerals of the result of the multiplication and it equals 9.eg 9 by 7 =63,where 6+3=9.
Someone probably received the Noble prize for that.

Guy Fawkes was caught in 1606-Lydia Ko and cricket match were to be celebrated-USA wants us to add salt to  our tea drinks-and Countdown, Dunedin has some special on rodents (rats).
1875 was the first weather map-thieves hit Michael Hill twice in 2 days (couldn't get enough bargains?)- best way to sign off emails is apparently with just your initials.

Speaker  was our own Past district DG, Ingrid, hence the large attendance.
Speaking on her recent attendance at the Rotary International Assembly for new governors held in Orlando, Florida.
530 governors and partners Ingrid was one of 40 international facilitators from 24 countries.
Ingrid was representing Zone 8 (Australia and NZ)and was able to report to the Rotary Directors on our new Regionalisation model which is now underway.
New Rotary strategic plan is; impact/reach/engage/adapt.(just like a rugby scrum)
