President's notices:

9th April - Kepa Rd., 9.30
As this is one of the few projects in which the club is involved it deserves all our support.
Saturday 9th April 9.30 am. Parking off Kepa Rd, opposite the filling station. A couple of hours well spent. Henry and his family will be there, plus Rory, YHC and others. Start at 9.30- finish at 11.30 with comestibles provided by the admirable Avis.

12th April - Newmarket Rotary 5.45pm Remuera Club. Matthew Hooton, possibly the most astute right of centre political commentator, will speak and answer questions.

If you' want to listen to the next prime minister book and pay now then the club will know how many seats (if any ) can be released to other clubs. Currently 69 attendees have signed up, the vast majority being non members so he's attracting people . Be in quickly or dip out!

 24th -26th June District Conference
This will be at te Papa. Ingrid will be going and is trying to put a group from the club. Interested? Contact Ingrid.

Last week's  bulletin:
This was dispatched late! And only the ever observant Don S noticed! YHC was in his way to Whangarei to see the Hundertwasser Exhibition so it was written but not circulated. Dumb, eh? In passing - it's well worth the trip!

12 minute speech (Barry where are you when we need you?) The newly returned Wendy told us of her, and David's, annus horribilis with relatives, broken bones, keeping the shop open, covid, and so on. We have to be pleased that they both survived.

The Transition Team:
Progress is being made on the future shape of the club. Phil outlined the new roles, a breakfast and an evening forum director, a communications director and a project director (currently Phillippa)
The EvenIng Forum will meet monthly at the Foundation on Parnell rd. It will be free and with a cash bar, focussing mainly on projects with the communication being via social media targeting 20 - 30 year olds.  A mentoring service is being created and Don C will circulate details after Easter.
The format for the existing weekly breakfast meetings still has to be decided by the club. A lot of thought has gone into the progress that's been made.
