The President commenced the meeting at 7.30 am.
The Constitution has been reviewed for legal compliance and RI requirements and was issued to members three weeks ago. The changes are mainly cosmetic.

The President reminded members that the big issue for the club is its aging membership. A change in this trajectory of membership decline remains elusive.
The President drew attention to the Volunteers Exposition due to take place in the Selwyn Netball Centre on Saturday 28th September. Volunteers are encouraged to support the Rotary presence.
Malcolm will be organising attendance at the Star Insurance Motorcycle show at the Papakura Club.
The 30th anniversary of the club is scheduled for Thursday 28th November - to celebrate the past and contemplate the future.
There is a meeting with Richard George of Parnell School - $500 contribution to school lunches and camp for selected recipients.
Fruit trees are due for planting in Gismo's Garden - volunteers please.

Members' cash reserves had another good seeing-to from the Sergeant.
Kathy provided a presentation on her life, her abuse traumas, and her grueling encounters with the mental health system. This was a sobering description of terrible suffering, overcome by Kathy's amazing strength. Kathy described the work of Starlight, which she co-founded, and its amazing growth, and left the club with a challenge for us to ponder!
